Hello everyone, Today I thought I would share with you my thoughts on the New Bondi Sands 1 Hour Express Tanning Foam. Now I was so intrigued when I saw this first launched, I had been watching Sarah Ashcroft's vlog all about the trip and thought how exciting it looked, so I really wanted to try it. My sister actually brought this and was a babe and let me try it out, so I thought I would share with you my thoughts, as you may know already I am a big lover of fake tanning ( not going to lie, I think I may be addicted)...
Packaging
I thought I would start off with the packaging! Now, I think the size of the product is pretty good and a decent size for a fake tanning product. In this bottle there is 225ml of product, which is just a little more than my fave St Moriz tan. I love the fact that the bottle isn't plastic as I feel plastic bottles get dirty really quickly where as this bottle isn't going to get dirty and can easily be cleaned.
Application
As for application, I love how the tan comes out more like a foam than a mouse. I popped a little bit onto my tanning mitt and then firstly applied it to my arms, as this is where I usually always start applying my tan. I found that the tan dried very quickly which made the product sink into your skin fast. This meant that it was a little difficult to blend without leaving patches, but I found that if you rubbed it in hard enough it actually was quite easy to blend. However, because of this I found you had to use quite a lot of product. I tried to use as little as possible though, considering it was my sisters, however, it still actually turned out really great.
Results- I actually loved the way this tan looks I find that usually my hands can often catch quite a lot of the tan because I get such dry skin around that area, however, I found with this tan, this didn't happen, which I was very happy about. It didn't look patchy and looked so natural, which I loved!! It's not too orange which is also a bonus and just looks like you have a sun kissed glowy tan. In the photo to the left I had prepped my skin by using a home made coconut oil and sugar scrub, so there is next to no tan on my skin.
Then on the bottom right photo is where I have applied one layer of the express tan.
I did find that this was a very strong smelling tan!! It does say on the tin that it has a coconut scent, which I believe Bondi Sands is known for. At first the tan smelt quite strong, however, after a while I started to get used to it. So I would say if you don't like the smell of coconut then this may be a little strong scented for you.
I really hope you enjoyed this review, let me know if you have tried this tan? xx
I've used the regular foam in the shades "dark" and "ultra dark", but I've never tried this one! I really like the ones that I have tried and you're right, the color looks very natural! Does this one wash off or does it actually stay on after you shower? I know some of them are for like a single use. Thinking I'll try this one next!

oh they both sound great!! this one washes off and leaves a glow behind,if you leave it on for half an hour you get a light/medium glow, 1 hour a medium to dark and for longer an intense tan xxxx

to be honest i only fake tan because I live in england and its so hard to get a tan :( xx
DeleteThe worst thing about fake tanning is having to wait around for it to dry and develop, so think this would be perfect for me xx
