The perfect dress for a Summer picnic...

I have recently been 'umming and ahhing' on weather to buy this beautiful, blue pin stripe dress from Topshop. I had seen it in the store nearly every time I had been in and it had always caught my eye. I must have tried it on at least 3 times before I actually decided that it would be perfect for my summer wardrobe. So, I finally decided to get it...

I have so much love for pin stripe at the moment and loved it last summer too. I feel like it is a timeless trend that is most likely going to stay for the next summers to come. I love the style of this dress, as the wrap details are also very on trend this summer. I also loved the frill detailing on the neck line and hem. 

This dress is perfect for days when its not too hot but still has a warm breeze in the air. The fabric is perfect because it keeps you feeling cool and not too sweaty (yum). I wore mine for a little walk in Pitville Park with my mum. This dress is perfect for a picnic or walk in the park as it looks beautiful but is so comfortable too.

As you may know by now I love to wear little across the body bags, as they are just really handy and don't become a nuisance on a day out. I paired the dress with my French Connection black body bag with gold detailing and my Primark 'Valentino' inspired sandals, which I have been loving recently because they go with just about anything.  My sunglasses I wore were also from Primark and I believe they only cost around £2, which is good because they are so comfortable and again, go with any outfit. I decided to curl my hair but go with a simple make up look so I could still try and attempt to tan my face.
