Cristy Jade Lydia: How to add a little Pink into your Winter Wardrobe- Blogmas #9

Today I went into town with Sam to get his hair cut and on the way home took some ootd photos for Instagram. I decided to talk to you lovelies today, all about how to add a little pink into your wardrobe this winter, as I was definitely inspired by my pink coat in this Insta pic. I feel like so many people choose to not wear pink in winter as it is more of a spring colour, however , as we all know I love the colour pink (see instagram or my bedroom lol), and I absolutely love this coat from Miss Selfridge that I got last year in the sales just after Christmas.I think it was around £30-£40 and I have certainly got my wear out of it. It's lasted so well and yesterday I washed it so it is looking as good as new today! So this leads to my first tip on how to add a little pink into your winter wardrobe...

1. Style a Pink Coat

I think pink/ any coloured coat that isn't black always looks so chic and makes you stand out! I always find that wearing that little but of colour in the winter is often quite eye catching as not many people choose to wear this colour in the winter. I think stepping out of your comfort zone with a pink coat is always going to look great. I have seen an amazing one in topshop that is also similar to this one and also one in Primark that is more of a teddy bear style which is only £30. I love the fact a coat can just make an outfit go from a 6/10 to a 10/10 not going to lie.

2. Style a Pink leather Skirt

Now I absolutely love my pink leather skirt that I got from New Look around two years ago. It has a little rose gold detailing and it looks great paired with a cream roll neck knit and over the knee boots. Such a simple outfit yet looks so effective and makes you feel amazing! I think the leather look always makes the garment look so much more expensive too.

3. Add a pink accessory

I think a great way to add a pop of pink into your wardrobe is by adding a pink bag to your outfit. There are so many amazing bags out there on the high street at the minute, including, Zara, Topshop and even Primark. I think adding a pink bag to any outfit just lifts and brightens any look and makes it look so much more put together and like you have made an effort when choosing your accessories. I also think a cute little bow or scarf wrapped into a hairstyle would look so cute too, I know H & M do really affordable silk scarves.

4. Add a pink hat to your wardrobe

Now you may have seen on my Instagram the pearl bobble hat that I have been wearing constantly this winter. Now I love popping a hat on as it can often made your outfit look so much more accessorised and put together. I love a bobble hat but I think the beret trend can also look so cute, especially a pink beret. I also think baker boy hats look amazing with almost any outfit and could be a great way to add pink to your winter wardrobe. Oh... and they are great for when your on day 3 hair and its looking a little greasy.
