Hello everyone, and a Happy new year to you all...
Today I thought I would have a little ramble and wish you all a merry 2019. As you can probably have seen I had the best Christmas with my family and took a break from daily blogging throughout Christmas to new year. So, I thought I would catch you all up on what has been occurring in the life of Cristy so far...
Christmas Eve
So my last post I believe was on the 23rd, so on Christmas Eve, myself and my sister prepared the trimmings for Christmas dinner and made meat balls, which is one of our family traditions. Then in the evening all of the family got together at one of the sweetest little pubs up on the hill and had dinner together, which was so good. It was such a lovely evening and it was so lovely to see my nieces, nephews and my sisters. We then came home and me and my sister got the cutest Christmas eve pyjamas, which are the ones I am wearing in the photo above, how cute hehe...
Christmas Day
So on Christmas day we started the day off by opening our stockings and eating meatballs for breakfast. You may think why on earth we eat meatballs for breakfast, but it has basically been a tradition from our Italian side of the family for as long as I can remember. We then opened and exchanged gifts with mum and dad and then Kelly and I cooked Christmas dinner for my mum and dad, which I won't lie, was not as stressful as I had thought. We spent some time cozying up on the sofa and then in the evening I went around to Sam's house and spent the evening with his family. It was such a lovely day.
That Bit In-between
So we all know that time of year in between Christmas and new year when you have no idea what day it is, well this was honestly such an amazing time. Sam had the week after Christmas off and we spent some quality time together, which is something we love to do. We went to see Bumblebee at the Screening rooms, at some lovely breakfasts at the Find, went on a festive walk around Pitville park and watched a bugger load of films and it was honestly so lovely.
New Years Eve
On New Years Eve I went out with my friends and we went for cocktails at The Botanist, then onto some crazy golf and then out to see Sam Djing at COCO in Cheltenham, which was a very proud moment...
All in all, I had the best festive period ever. I will never be able to put into words just how much I love Christmas and being able to spend quality time with my family and friends. It was so special and I really hope that everyone has had the best time and also has an incredible 2019...
See you next time, and a Happy New Year...
