Hello everyone,
So this past weekend, myself and Sam took a trip to London for the weekend. We had the best time and it was so lovely to take a trip down there. I think the last time I was in London was for my 19th birthday, which has been far too long. The whole weekend we basically just walked around the entirety of London and were basically tourists for 48 hours...
On Friday we arrived in London at around 12 o clock and then went to get some food, of course. We basically did a lot of walking and went to visit Peggy Porschen to get some cute Instagram pics. We managed to get some cake, I had the chocolate cup cake and Sam had the truffle chocolate cake, and I won't lie, they were pretty yummy. I always said I wouldn't go back and spend my money there after spending so much last time, however, because we were there we just thought, you know what, why not get some cake as we don't have many cupcake parlours in Cheltenham.
Later in the evening we actually went on a boat party on the Thames, and it was so much fun. We basically managed to see all of the sights on the boat and it was such an incredible experience. I would reccomened it to anyone.
Then on Saturday we had another blogger day and went to visit Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar square and Covent Garden. We had a lovely breakfast at Gail's bakery and I had the avocado on toast and a chai latte and Sam had the bacon and egg bap and an amazing sausage roll. It was such a nice breakfast spot and we had a view of the London eye, I would highly reccomened and its also really affordable too.
On Saturday night we went for a little date night to a place in Convent Garden Called Big Easy. If you are a lover of fish and steak, you will absolutely love this place. Sam had the most incredible lobster and it was sooooo good, and Im not the biggest fish fan. We had such a lovely date night and one of the best meals we have ever had. If you would like to see a 'Where to eat in London' post I please do let me know.
On Sunday we got the tube to oxford street, however, I had no idea that the shops opened at 12 ..... Which was a bit of a bummer but we still had a lovely morning and ended up going to Gails again for breakfast. We had the best time and it was so nice to relax and have a weekend away together.
If you would like to watch my London Vlog, you can find it HERE
I really hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed the trip, see you next time...
