Cristy Jade Lydia: How I style The Abbott Lyon Mara Shoulder Bag*...

February of course is the month of love and this month Abbott Lyon is currently holding a campaign for Self love. I thought what better way to share with you guys Self love than one of my favourite outfits that makes me feel great. It is probably one for the warmer months, however, I have been trying to make it work by adding a little fur.

So I recently took a look in Miss Selfridge the other day and they were having a major sale and managed to find this gorgeous jersey dress which I have been looking for for a long time. I found a similar one in All Saints, however it was about £60, and this one was in the sale for £8 which was an absolute bargain. I also brought this long sleeve top to pair with it as the dress actually has strappy sleeves and thought this went quite well over the top to make it a little warmer. The top was also around £7, so in total the outfit only cost me £15.

I love the look of white with nude accessories, I just feel like it looks so chic and effortless and it means that you can literally pair this colour with absolutely anything and any colour. I also love how the accessories stand out that little more when you wear white and especially when they are such beautiful quality.

I have joined Abbott Lyon in their Self Love campaign this month and I think it is such a lovely idea. Although its so lovely to share valentines day with a loved one, I truly believe that you have to make sure you love yourself. I feel like this can have such negative connotations but their are so many things you can do to make yourself feel so much better. I always feel so much better within myself when I feel good in what I am wearing and this outfit is such a great basis for these beautiful accessories from Abbott Lyon.

I have had my eye on the Mara shoulder bag for a very long time and always thought it would be such a great bag for so many different occasions. I were it into town shopping, or on a night out or for cocktails. It has three separate compartments which makes it great for organising the space in your bag. I love the fact it has a little zip compartment in the middle for all the pieces you dont want falling out everywhere. The metal work is so beautiful and the yellow gold goes so nicely with everything you pair it with. I also had mine embossed with my initials which makes the lovely personal touch without looking to bold and intense. I also love that you can wear it over the shoulder with the long strap and pull the strap through to make it a little shorter.

I have also paired this outfit with this beautiful Blush Chain Stellar watch which is so beautiful and looks so beautiful on the wrist. It is one of the larger watches and really stands out with every outfit. The colour is also lovely and can be worn well with both gold and silver which is always a bonus.
