I hope you are all staying safe and doing very well. Just last week I was gifted some beautiful pieces from the lovely ladies at ChiChi Clothing. I have always seen people in these gorgeous dresses and even from the photos I had seen I just new that the quality was amazing as you cold tell just from the photos online. I thought I would share with you one of my favourite dresses from the collection and tell you a little about how I would style and the perfect occasion they could be worn to.
This dress is a beautiful drop waist style which I actually am loving at the minute! I have a skirt that is a similar style and I love it and find it really quite flattering to my body shape. This dress is called the Chi Chi Rylie dress and is actually currently on sale for just £35 down from £60. Which is such an incredible price seeing as the quality of the material is just amazing. I love how you can really tell how wonderful the fabrics they use are, this fabric is stretchy which I also really like as this would probably be a dress I would wear to a wedding, and of course I would be eating a lot of food so this material is perfect for that.
We all know I love a square neck line and for me, someone who has relatively broad shoulders, its perfect as I feel like the square neckline really makes the broad shoulders look a little smaller, which is a bonus for me. The little spaghetti straps are perfect if you wanted to wear this dress in the sunshine. I love a summer dress that can be worn in the heat and not cover too much of my body when I want to get a tan.
I love the pleat detailing in the bottom of the skirt and feel like this design detail adds that extra little bit to the dress, I would definitely wear this dress to a wedding, christening or even a socially distanced lockdown BBQ. if I were to wear this to a wedding I would definitely pair this with a simple mini bag and a pair of simple heals, of course because the dress is floral print, it would look lovely with simple nude accessories. As for a more casual occasion, I would just pop on a pair of simple slider sandals and a handle bag or even a cross body bag.
For me this dress is the perfect summer dress for all occasions. I love how versatile this dress is and how you can style it up in any way. Its perfect for a hot afternoon in the sunshine or for evening BBQ drinks in the garden.
